Integration
The challenge of
managing large networks of IP cameras is providing a cohesive, easy-to-use
interface for all potential users of the video system. IVC software not
only accomplishes this, but also facilitates the incorporation of video
into 3rd party software applications including
SCADA. Additionally, IVC’s
software architecture makes it easy to add legacy video systems to an IP
video network. This negates the need to immediately abandon all existing
systems and offers our customers great savings as they migrate their video
surveillance systems to IP. IVC provides APIs to its software to
facilitate the integration and automate responses from a variety of
detection technologies.
Users of IVC’s video surveillance system can view, store, and retrieve
video as well as control cameras remotely through a simple browser
interface. More sophisticated management that might include customizable
multi-up, multi-monitor displays, camera tours, alarm management, and
integration of 3rd party security devices can be accomplished
using our
View Station Software.

IVC’s Relay Server Software is the heart of our IP video system. This
Windows-based program provides a single browser-based interface to a
multi-camera network. Users can remotely view or store video from a
variety of IP cameras, review stored video and snapshots, and
click-to-point control of PTZ cameras from this browser interface.
Available in license packages to support 4, 8, 16, and 24 cameras.
Enterprise version includes Window Domain and LDAP authentication and
PDA support. |

party software integration
IVC’s Relay Server
Software is shipped with APIs to facilitate the integration of camera
video into 3rd party applications. The HTML, XML, and
ActiveX interfaces enable users to easily add video, camera controls,
and other Relay Server functions to SCADA or custom 3rd party

View Station
VSS 4000
IVC’s View Station Software provides a configurable interface to
networks of IP cameras. A client of the Relay Server, the View
Station can manage multiple cameras from multiple Relay Servers.
Users define how to use screen real estate in defining an unlimited
number of multi-up, multi-function views. From these views users
can view live and stored video, control PTZ cameras, schedule camera
tours, manage alarms, and control other devices on the network.
Available in license packages to support 4, 8, 16, and 24 cameras.

Alarm Management
IVC’s
Alarm Server is an alarm system
integration tool and, along with the IVC View Station client software, a
rules-based alarm management product. When used with other components
of the IVC software suite, the Alarm Server enables users to create a
reliable and flexible alarm management system. IVC’s Alarm Server
supports TCP, SMTP, MODBUS, IP ASCII as well as other messaging protocols.
